When there is an aspect close to a New Moon it represents that energy that lunar cycle will display. With Pluto in close proximity we can expect some more stressful times ahead. This month will be about power struggles and hidden agendas. You can expect to uncover some secrets which will have to be dealt with directly. Pluto in Capricorn will release a lot of things buried in the unconscious. Pluto is in conflict with Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) during many difficult world events. They were in square in 1940 as the Second World War was starting to heat up. They were in opposition when the World Trade Center was destroyed. At the moment they are in mutual receptivity with Saturn in Scorpio, which is helping us cope with the mess we’ve been in for the last few years. With Pluto conjunct the New Moon in Capricorn we can expect to see some manifestations of the repressive energy of Capricorn coupled with the deep and probing power of Pluto.
